Norfolk Christian charity launches new website

VidiyalWebHomeNorfolk-based Christian development charity the Vidiyal Trust has launched a new website to keep its supporters and other informed.
 
The Trust is led by the Rev Canon Pat Atkinson MBE who, over the past 17 years, has made over 30 visits to India and Sri Lanka to work with develop various charitable projects with known Christian churches.
 
The work includes a boys and girls home and a slum school. The Trust also has a training and development link with a Cancer Centre in Kerala and supply, equip and funds two ambulances for outreach clinics to poor cancer patients.
 
The group also works with a Catholic priest in Sri Lanka in an area devastated by the Tsunami and has helped with the renovation and rebuilding of homes and currently sponsor 33 children who could not have attended school without its help.
