Magnificent May Day event

Monday 5^th May saw the return of the annual three churches event in the popular Heigham Park (Jessopp Rd URC, St Thomas and Park Lane Methodist Church). The day was blessed with beautiful weather which brought out the crowds in their hundreds. The spectators were thrilled, entertained and fed by a large volunteer crew. Highlights included a Gospel choir, gymnasts and many side stalls such as the giant bouncy slide.

 

Mark Tubby said: “This is an important piece of ecumenical Church Related Community Work and it was great to be able to support all those who helped make it happen”. Hopefully the success of this year’s event will overcome any worries that the event is past its sell-by date!
