Challenges of Islam is topic at Norfolk church
 Responding to the challenges of Islam is the subject of a Teaching day with Colin Chapman (right) at The Well Christian Centre, Swaffham Road, Ashill, Thetford, Norfolk, IP25 7BT on Saturday September 27.
Colin Chapman has worked for 17 years at different times in the Middle East - mostly in Egypt and Lebanon - teaching in two seminaries and doing student work in the region with the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students.
In the UK he has taught at Trinity College, Bristol, and Crowther Hall, Selly Oak, Birmingham. He is now enjoying an active retirement in Cambridge, enjoying his family and engaged in some writing and regular visits to the Middle East.
His books include 'Cross and Crescent: Responding to the Challenges of Islam' (IVP), 'Whose Promised Land?' and 'Whose Holy City? Jerusalem and the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict' (Lion), '"Islamic Terrorism": Is There a Christian Response?' (Grove).
