John asks "who wants to be a millionaire?"

JohnWrightJune07Norwich business man and former banker John Wright - who says he had to watch while two big institutions “robbed him” of £1 million - will be the guest speaker at the next  Norwich lunch of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship on Wednesday, December 10 at 1pm.

The former banker, who is a member of the College of Evangelists, believed that God told him not to touch these institutions, but to warn them of God's coming vengeance if they did not repent.

“After time for repentance, horrifying judgement fell,” he recalls.

Erpingham HouseJohn will share his personal story at the FGB lunch at a venue in the heart of Tombland – the upstairs restaurant at Erpingham House, pictured right.  A glass of wine or a cold drink is included in the tasty “express business lunch” costing just £5.95.

In 1992, John Wright had to accept “unjust condemnation” after the then longest trial in history in the Guiness Book of Records, lasting 17 months. He even had to survive three months in prison because he felt led to wait for divine vindication. His adventures behind bars were published later in Letters from Prison (www.branchpress.com)

Looking back, John cheerfully says it is tests of obedience like these that win treasure in heaven - which is where he hopes to be a millionaire!

Lunch reservations: contact Robert Ross on 01603 631050 (office number) or email: robert@positive-selection.com  (by Monday noon, December 8, if possible).
