2009: The Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams visited St Mary Magdalen Church in Wiggenhall, near King's Lynn, as part of the 900th birthday celebrations of the Diocese of Ely on Saturday January 24.
During his visit, Dr Williams chatted to the congregation and answered questions about the future of the church and its role in the community.
He also gave a speech and said a prayer during the service, which was lead by the Rev Diana Penny, who spoke about the problems facing small rural congregations.
