Volunteering project comes to Norwich churches

CCpolishingwebA youth volunteering charity is looking to run volunteering days in local churches in and around Norwich.

Cathedral Camps has developed the ‘ReFresh’ project: activities designed for groups of young people who want to volunteer for just one day in their local community.

Rebecca Wilkinson, CSV Co-ordinator says, "The days are always productive and fun, and provide people the opportunity to give something back to their community. We have previously run Christmas events in Norwich Cathedral – decorating the Christmas tree and building the nativity scene!"

Get involved!

  • Groups of young people (16-25 years) looking for a practical and positive way to spend a day can take part in Refresh. The events are fully funded – all volunteers need to bring is their lunch and a positive attitude!
  • Churches in the Norwich area who could use a group of young people's time and energy can request to work with a local youth team.

Rebecca can be contacted on rwilkinson@csv.org.uk or tel: (0207) 2782864
