Norwich stockbroker was FGB lunch speaker
Norwich stockbroker Angus McCrum was the guest speaker at the Christian business men’s lunch run by the Norwich FGBMFI in the city at the Maids Head Hotel in Tombland at 1pm on Thursday, March 19.
Despite the economic downturn, financial adviser Angus says there still companies with good long-term prospects.
Born in Zimbabwe, but of Scots descent, Angus also has a background in technology as an IT manager. He has an MA degree in media engineering and computer animation – which perhaps explains why the “Shrek” film series is a favourite of Angus and his family with three children.
The 25-minute talk by Angus is one of a regular series of monthly lunchtime events held at the Maid’s Head in the centre of the city.
The lunches (from 1-2pm) are aimed largely at people who work in the city and are designed to fit in a standard lunch hour with a half-hour meal followed by a talk.
The cost to attend the lunch is £6 and all are welcome, say the organisers, the Norwich Chapter of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship.
