Mid Norfolk church offers internship programme
Fountain of Life church in Ashill, Mid Norfolk is looking for young people interested in doing an internship year. This gap year is an opportunity to get involved in church ministries and receive support and teaching.
The aim of internship is give young adults the chance to serve and grow in the context of a missionary congregation.
Throughout the year an intern can expect to be involved within a large variety of church ministries - they will get the chance to work with a wide range of ages from Pre-School to Good Companions, the church's over 60s monthly event.
Joe Nursey, who runs the internship programme at Fountain of Life, says, "As they serve within the church ministries, interns will be able to use gifts that they already have and develop them. We want to help develop each intern's personal relationship with God. In order to achieve this, the interns have teaching sessions each week and also a mentor.
Additionally, as a missionary congregation, a lot of our ministries are mission-focused and so there is the opportunity for interns to go on an international mission trip with a team from the church."
Each intern is housed locally with people from the church. For more information about the year or some advertising leaflets, please contact the church on internship@fountainoflifeonline.org
