2009: Top Christian motorcyclist, Chris Morley, who grew up in Norwich, will be looking for victory on the race track this Easter when he when he puts his faith to the test.

The Christian rider who made a dramatic comeback to the sport 17 years after a back injury, will be matching his skill and nerve against 40 tough competitors when he takes the white-knuckle turns at over 100mph.

Chris has seen his faith bring focus, calm and confidence at race circuits across the UK. Now he is ready to compete at Tonfanau in Wales on Sunday April 12 and Oulton Park, Cheshire on Saturday April 18 in the hotly-contested Formula 400 class.

Chris, a former British championship racer and the youngest rider in Suzuki GB’s factory team before being sidelined by injuries, has taken his inspiration from his father who was a Grand Prix competitor.

“Now God is restoring those lost years,” says Chris, 40, who was raised in Cringleford, Norwich.

“We have a better bike this year - the Yamaha FZR400SP - and we going into the season brimming with confidence. It is our intention to start the year with a win,” said Chris who is backed by Proppa.com. Chris will be lining up on the grid after narrowly missing a first place win during last year’s successful season.
