Call 2 Prayer launches second website

2009: Call to Prayer, the well established prayer ministry in Norfolk, has developed a second website which will operate alongside the existing Call to Prayer news and events site which is part of Network Norfolk.

 

The new website can be found at www.call2prayer.co.uk and the existing site is at www.networknorwich.co.uk/calltoprayer . The new website tracks how the ministry is growing, and coincides with the opening of The Tabernacle at Kirby Bedon for three weeksuntil June 7.

 

Director, Jill Gower, said: “We are so pleased to have got our website together to keep folk up to date with the various events and teaching sessions coming up shortly, as well as ongoing initiatives.

 

“We have planned a new programme for the autumn, and have some great events ahead.  Prayer updates and news, and some teaching on prayer will follow. We invite you to visit the website, and will welcome any feedback and enquiries.”

 

Call to Prayer began in 2000 when Madeline Light asked Jill Gower to support her with praying for Living Water and it has grown steadily since then. However, it is since being commissioned by church leaders in April 2008 as a prayer ministry for Norwich, Norfolk and beyond, that the Call to Prayer team has expanded beyond the initial expectations.

 

The Call to Prayer team seek to serve the local church, working with those of like heart and vision to encourage prayer and raise up pray-ers, looking to release the huge potential within the church to change the spiritual climate of the area through many different styles and expressions of prayer.
