500 enjoy family fun for free at Norwich church

Space hoppers, sack races and sizzling burgers were all part of a family fun day staged by Earlham Christian Centre in Norwich recently.

More than 500 local people turned up for the annual event, with the promise of free beef burgers for all - in the grounds of Earlham Christian Centre.

Sports and races featured among many outdoor events at the popular family event.

“We want to show local people that church is a fun place to be and never boring,” said Pastor Paddy Venner.

More than 23 nationalities are represented at the family church, located on the western side of Norwich.
