Alpha does the business for workers in Norwich
2010: Kings Community Church is running a Business Alpha course from January 18, aimed at people working in Norwich city centre and fitting into a standard lunch hour.
Organiser, James Gardiner, said: “Business Alpha is a condensed version of the Alpha Course, run in a lunchtime, which allows people to explore the meaning of life from a Christian viewpoint.
“It is specifically tailored for people working in the city centre in private, public and charitable sector organisations and it is becoming more common across the UK.
"This is an opportunity for people working in Norwich to get to know each other and discuss everything from life, work and what it all meant! If you know someone who might be interested in doing an Alpha Course with other people working in Norwich, please pass this information on or contact us for more details.
"We will be listening to a series of talks based on various topics while having a buffet lunch then there is a chance for general discussion," said James.
Business Alpha starts on Monday January 18, 2010, at 1pm and will run on consecutive Monday lunchtimes at the King’s Centre, King’s Street, NR1 1PH
Sarah Goring, a paralegal, who has done the course before, said: "I love the course as it is a fantastic opportunity to get to know some new people, have a good meal, and ask those difficult and challenging questions you've always wanted to ask about Christianity - and get real honest answers."
