Norwich church pulls in a crowd for baptisms

TaeganBaptismPeople travelled from as far as Essex to see 11 people baptised at a Norwich church recently.

Earlham Christian Centre (ECC) hold baptism services up to three times a year at their evening interactive meeting called LifeCafe and each time they attract a full-house for the occasion.

At the most recent baptism, in October (pictured right), 11 were baptised including Pastor Paddy Venner’s own nine-year-old son Taegan.

Paddy said: “We were packed on Sunday night, with people travelling from as far as Essex to witness this awesome event in people’s lives and there is already a waiting list for the next baptism to be held in March next year.

“What made this one extra special” said Paddy, “was the fact that I got to baptise my own son Taegan.”

ECC is a contemporary multi-generational, multi-racial church on the west side of Norwich.
