Ex-RAF man helps church reach Norfolk men

Mark Clamp2009: Ashill man and former Royal Air Force technician Mark Clamp has become the East Anglia Regional Director of Christian Vision for Men (CVM).

This is a new post and Mark joins a team of CVM directors with a regional remit to equip local churches with the tools and resources they need to reach men with the gospel.

Mark was an aircraft engine technician in the RAF for over 31 years. He left the RAF in September 2008 and now works as a counsellor in private practice and as a Personal Career Coach with A4e at Oak Street in Norwich. Mark [pictured above] is a member of Fountain of Life Church in Ashill. Mark is married to Jane and they have three children.

Mark will support churches in East Anglia who want to introduce men to Jesus and then get them gripped and excited by their faith.

The CVM movement recognises that just as "youth" are different from "seniors", men are different from women and need to be targeted in a different way. CVM don’t want a church dominated by men or male characteristics nor do they want to make church a “men’s club”. CVM aims to help make church a great place for husbands, future husbands, sons and friends.

More details on CVM can be found at www.cvmen.org.uk or from Mark at markclamp@hotmail.co.uk or 01760 447486
