Norfolk Theological Society events for 2011

peter owen jonesThe new Norfolk Theological Society programme for 2011 has been announced which includes talks from TV presenter Revd Peter Owen Jones (pictured), Norwich writer Clare Richards and president of the Baptist Union Revd Dr Pat Took.

 

Norfolk Theological Society is an informal association of people from East Anglia interested in discussing theological and religious matters. All events take place at St Luke’s Church Centre in Aylsham Road, Norwich unless otherwise stated.

 

The cost is £4.00 for each meeting or £5.00 with refreshments served in the interval.

There is no subscription fee to join Norfolk Theological Society - everybody is welcome to come to the events and there are usually around 100 people who attend the meetings to listen to invited speakers and hold a discussion with them.

Monday June 20th
Lunchtime meeting
12.30 – 2.00 pm
Bert Richards Memorial Lecture
Clare Richards, writer & former Head of R.E. at Notre Dame High school : 
How Catholics view the Bible and what that meant for Bert Richards.
N.B. This meeting will be held at The Narthex,

Roman Catholic Cathedral

Thursday October 13th                        
7.00 – 9.30 pm.

 

Revd Dr Pat Took, President of the Baptist Union:
