World Leader joins Norwich Good Friday march

Norwich Christian Street Procession set for Good Friday: Salvation Army World Leader to speak at Cathedral
NorWalk1webBy Nicholas Vesey

As in 2009 Norwich Christians are being invited on a silent Walk of Witness through Norwich on Good Friday, through crowds of shoppers.

Transforming Norwich is arranging this year’s traditional Good Friday Procession through Norwich, like last year, as a silent event, with those joining in being encouraged to consider the theme of reconciliation. There will be a moment at the Forum where nails will be driven into a cross.

The march will be from Chapelfield Road Methodist Church starting at 5pm,and end at Norwich Cathedral where the congregation will be addressed by General John Larsson, world Leader of the Salvation Army 2002-2006.

All Christians in Norwich are invited to come.

Pictured are scenes from the 2009 Walk of Witness across Norwich city centre.
