Prayer for Christian issues in general election
A barrister who is closely involved with cases where Christians defend their right to speak biblical truth in the public sphere will be speaking at a prayer day in Norwich on Saturday 24 April.
Andrea Minichiello Williams, the public face of Christian Concern for our Nation (CCFON), is a passionate and anointed speaker with a particular understanding of upholding Christians and Christian values. She will give a presentation on Christian issues affecting the General Election to facilitate prayer on this area.
CCFON was established to inform and empower Christians to speak with a coherent and cohesive voice against ungodly and unjust laws, and to speak for righteousness and justice.
It exists to serve the church by providing information to enable Christians to stand up publicly against the growing tide of unchristian legal and political changes in the UK as well as a rallying point. It also has a Legal Centre which seeks to help Christians who need legal expertise to stand up for what they believe in.
There is no booking fees for this event but an offering will be taken to help with expenses and to contribute to CCFON. There will be a time of worship before Andrea speaks and a time for people to ask questions after she has spoken. Lunch will be about 12.15ish. Please remember to bring your own! After lunch there will be a time of prayer and worship led by Mark Sutcliffe.
