Norwich duo win free online shop vouchers
2010: Norwich Central Baptist Church duo Terry Smith and Donald Menga have each won a £30 voucher to spend in our online shop as part of our new members’ initiative earlier this year.
The initiative invited existing Network Norfolk website users to sign up their friends for the weekly e-news bulletin and dozens did so. Terry signed up several friends including Donald
Terry is a trustee of Costessey Parochial Charity and has just stepped down as treasurer of Norfolk Street Pastors. He is presently involved in helping an asylum seeker to remain in the UK and, with wife Rosemary, helps ex-offenders to settle back into the community.
“I find the website an invaluable source of information keeping me up to date on Christian activities and news,” said Terry. “There are so many congregations in and around Norwich that are isolated and this is a means of bringing them into the wider Christian community.”
Donald has lived and worked in Norwich for the past five years, is married to Miriam and they have a three-year-old daughter Maisie. They are both members at NCBC and Donald said: “I really feel that God is moving powerfully through Norwich at the moment and ask that prayer continues to let this happen. “I think the website is an excellent way for Christians to have a central point of information for activities and events happening in our area.”
