Norwich Churches join for carol singing
Join us to fill Chapelfield Plain with the sound of singing! Norwich Central Churches Together (NCCT) are organising the annual carol singing outside Chapelfield shopping centre in Norwich for Tuesday 14 December from 6-7pm.
Once again St Stephen’s church will provide hot drinks and mince pies after the carol singing. Everyone is welcome to join together in this Christian witness.
Celebrate Norfolk
Other topics discussed at the recent NCCT meeting included the first Celebrate Norwich & Norfolk event which was deemed was a success this year. The weekend outreach event in Norwich city centre will be repeated next year on 11 th and 12 th June. Click here to visit the Celebrate website.
Lent course
A good mix of people attended the Lent course in 2010 and feedback was that the leadership of the groups was good – the programme will happen again next year so watch this space for further details.
Annual forum
Every year Norwich Central Churches Together holds an annual forum; in 2010 it was around the theme of hospitality. The theme for 2011 is yet to be confirmed but the provisional date is Saturday 18 June with the Hostry as a likely venue. Further details will be published here on the NCCT website.
Annual prayer rota
The yearly prayer rota for Norwich city centre has been released. The idea is to pray each week for a different member church of Norwich Central Churches Together and a different aspect of our city life. Such prayer can be offered in church services or at weekly fellowship or prayer meetings, as well as for private prayer or in prayer walking. Click here to download a copy of the 2011 rota.
