Norfolk churches set to pray for Christian unity

weekofprayerChurches Together in King’s Lynn is organising a week of prayer for Christian Unity 2011 in various churches in West Norfolk from Tuesday January 18 to Monday January 24.
 

Tuesday 18th January:

King’s Lynn Baptist Church, Wisbech Rd, South Lynn PE30 5JS; Revd. Kevan Crane; 1230-1pm.
 

Wednesday 19th January:

Church of St John the Evangelist, Blackfriars Rd, King’s Lynn PE30 1NT; Revd. Corin Child; 12 mid-day – 1230pm.
 

Thursday 20th January:

St Margaret’s Church, Saturday Market Place, King’s Lynn PE30 5EB; Revd. Canon Christopher Ivory: 12 midday – 1230pm.
 

Friday 21st January:

Church of the Annunciation, London Rd, King’s Lynn PE30 5HQ; Revd Peter Rollings; 12.30pm (after daily Mass at 12 noon). Prayer for Christian Unity will be followed by soup and a roll.
 

Saturday 22nd January:

St. Felix Chapel, Babingley, PE31 6AW. 3.00pm; ‘Prophet, Priest and King: the high call of the baptised’ an address by Fr Peter Farrington, secretary of the Council of Oriental Orthodox Churches in the UK, followed by Vespers, followed by light refreshments.
 

Sunday 23rd January:

St. Faith’s Church, Gayton Rd., Gaywood, King’s Lynn PE30 4DZ. 6pm. Revd Canon Beryl Wood.
 

Monday 24th January;

The Sacred Space, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Gayton Rd., King’s Lynn PE30 4ET.
8.30 – 9.00am. Revd Mark Jones.
