NCCT raise money and elect new members

Bible study2Key dates from the Norwich Central Churches Together (NCCT) group include the Forum meeting and the annual united service, both set to take place in June.


The most recent meeting of the Norwich Central Churches Together was on February 2 at Princes Street URC.

New NCCT officers were elected:
 
Chairman: Rev John Fenn
Vice-Chairman: Rev John Minns
Secretary: Margaret Smith
Treasurer: Andrew Maxey
Acting Communications officer: Rosemary Bousfield
 
Thanks were expressed to the retiring chairman Fr. James Walsh for his humour and expertise in chairing the meetings over the past two years.
Recent NCCT events were evaluated which included the annual carol singing event outside Chapelfield shopping centre. A good number of people attended to sing and £60 was raised for St Martin’s Housing from the money collected on the night.
A donation of £200 from NCCT has been made to the Emmaus Norwich project at Ditchingham to provide accommodation and work for homeless men.
 
The Forum at the Hostry on Saturday 18 June will be on the subject of the Bible and the annual united service will be held on Sunday 19 June at the Anglican Cathedral at 6.30pm.
