Volunteers key to Norwich Christian project

ENYP Volunteers Meeting2The full team behind Norwich Christian project ENYP recently gathered for an evening of planning as the project now enters its fifth year.

Staff, team, trustees, volunteers, parents, and young leaders of ENYP gathered together for an evening of sharing and visioning in May.

As a project whose role across the local community has flourished since its establishment almost four years ago, ENYP frequently seeks to meet as a wider team to develop a shared vision for the future.

Danny Doran-Smith, Project Director of ENYP said, "It is an integral part of our strategy and the way we are moving forward to value the contribution made by every member of our team. We all want to see change in our community at the grass roots level, and we were pleased so many who are connected to the Project were able to attend".

ENYPVolunteers Meeting1The wider team comprises a mixture of people from all levels of involvement across the project, including those who would class themselves as having a Christian faith, to those who don’t.

Comments from the meeting included:
"I’ve seen confidence growing in my children since they’ve been coming to activities, and as a parent I want to support them."

"Clubs are accessible and affordable, particularly if you have more than one child in your family”.
