The Norwich church, then known as the
Mount Zion Family Life Centre, held popular camps from 1970 to 2003 on the Norfolk coast.
The reunion event, to be held at the church’s
Mason Road venue in
Norwich, will see current church members and visitors celebrating with vibrant worship, bible teaching, sight seeing, sporting competitions, late night extravaganzas and a trip to the
Celebrate Norwich & Norfolk event.
Visitors from across the world are expected, including
Rachel and Steve Mawston who are pastors at a Hillsong church in
Australia, Jon Norman from
Cape Town, South Africa, pastor
Phillip Pimlott from the
USA. Other visitors include
Rodney & Jeanette Breckon, Glyn & Pamela Greenow and
David & Gillian Nellist from the UK.

Organiser,
Susie Knights, said: “This event will be a great opportunity to reunite with old friends, reminisce and laugh at old photos but also and more importantly to meet with God once again and let Him stir in us once more those visions, dreams and the passion that we felt when God met with us in the past as he always did every year. It is also an opportunity to perhaps start a new tradition, to share some of our great experiences with our children and a new generation.”
Church pastor,
Trevor Pimlott, said: "This event will be both nostalgic and life changing, everyone is invited to come and celebrate with us some of the best memories of our lives. Whether you have been able to reach your visions and dreams of the past or not, it is never to late to be inspired once again, we look forward to seeing you there.
