Norwich Bishop to ordain 15 in church ministry

HeatherCracknellWebA former solicitor, a teacher, a youth worker, a Canaries fan and an avid reader of crime novels are amongst those to be ordained by the Bishop of Norwich, the Rt Revd Graham James, at Norwich Cathedral on Saturday July 2 at 11am and 3pm.
Among those being ordained will be former solicitor - James Stewart, teacher - Tom Lilley, youth worker - Richard Burbidge, Canaries fan - Heather Cracknell, avid reader of crime novels - Wendy Evans and Norfolk Probation Board employee - Karen Rayner.
 
The full list, with their new locations are:
 
Candidates for the Diaconate, to be ordained by the Bishop of Norwich in Norwich cathedral at 11am: Richard Burbidge (from Oak Hill College, London) to serve at Christ Church, Lowestoft; Lynn Chapman (Eastern Region Ministry Course – ERMC), to serve at Sheringham, St Peter; Heather Cracknell (ERMC), to serve at Cringleford & Colney; Wendy Evans (Cranmer Hall), to serve at Oulton Broad, St Mark; Tom Lilley (Westcott House, Cambridge), to serve at Attleborough & Besthorpe; Karen Rayner (ERMC), to serve at Ormesby St Margaret with Scratby, Ormesby St Michael and Rollesby (Part of the Flegg Group Ministry); James Stewart (Westcott House, Cambridge), to serve in the Great Yarmouth Team Ministry
 
Candidates for the Priesthood, to be ordained by the Bishop of Norwich in Norwich cathedral at 3pm: Suzanne Cooke, serving at Watton; David Frederick, serving at Cromer; Sally Kimmis, serving at St Margaret’s, King’s Lynn; Peter Leech, serving at Stalham, East Ruston, Brunstead, Sutton & Ingham; Derek McClean, serving at Drayton & Taverham; David Oldham, serving at Wymondham with Silfield & Spooner Row; John Pares, serving at Diss; Edward Thornley, serving in the Dereham & District Team Ministry.
