Revival event and cycle ride at Norwich church
A new Norwich church is raising its profile by helping to raise funds for education for African children and holding a revival weekend.
Living Waters Pentecostal Fellowship is supporting Mashinga Trust, a voluntary organisation that is part of the church by having a 20 mile sponsored cycle ride on 9 July.
Mashinga was set up to address the lack of support for black and minority ethnic groups in Norfolk. The group has links with Zimbabwe and the event will raise funds to support vulnerable children in Zimbabwe by paying school fees.
The ride will set off at 9.30am from Greenfields Community Centre, Ives Road, Norwich NR6 6DY to Aylsham, aiming to be back by 3pm. Registration is £5 and bike hire is £10 if you do not have one.
The group is looking for people to get involved by joining in, donating or lending bikes.
For more information or if you want to cycle and need to register visit www.mashinga.org or email info@mashinga.org or call 07960300567
