West Norfolk church holds girls' princess night

Princess NightAn evening of partying, pampering and purpose is promised to girls aged 12-18 who come along to the Princess Night being held at Downham Market's Sovereign Centre on Friday 22 July, 7.30-10.00pm.

The evening will be fast and furious with lots of fun and whacky games along with kicking tracks specially selected for the event by local DJ Wanda.

The event will include free manicures, non-alcoholic cocktails, the first of which is free, and a chance to have your photo taken professionally and receive the first photo free.

Rachel Gardener of the Romance Academy and Gen Montgomery of Shine International will be speaking and there will be a chance to browse in the market place where the Body Shop and Heaven's Attic (a jewellery store that sells fair trade items and gives 10% of its profits to help stop human trafficking).will be selling their wares and giving away
free samples.

Ruth Tong, Director of Women’s Ministry at Downham Market Christian Fellowship, which is organising the event, said, “This is such a fun night and I hope every girl who comes is inspired to celebrate their uniqueness and know they have awesome purpose and potential within themselves. Our goal is to build their self esteem, treat them like royalty and let them know their worth is beyond measure".

Entry costs just £4.00, payable on the door. The Sovereign Centre is on Sovereign Way, on Downham’s Trafalgar Industrial Estate.

For more information, call the Sovereign Centre on (01366) 384474, go to www.sovereigncentre.net, or check out “Princess Night” on Facebook.
