Norfolk Christian league launches new website
The Norfolk Christian Football League has launched a new website in time for the new season in partnership with the team behind the popular Network Norfolk website.
The new website at www.norfolkcfl.co.uk will carry all the latest fixtures, results and league tables, as well as news updates, league and team pages, picture galleries and document downloads, among other features. A central part of the website will be a regular new weekly e-newsletter service which aims to provide the latest results, league tables and news. Website designer, Helen Baldry, said: “We have aimed to produce an attractive and intuitive site which will provide an effective and efficient means of communicating with all the league’s stakeholders, including players, parents of youth players, managers, referees, churches and potential new teams among others. Important league information can be communicated both quickly and effectively using both the website and the new e-mail newsletter.”
Former league vice-chairman, Tim Stapleford, who helped commission the new website, said: “As a league we want to network effectively with other youth support organizations and communication networks. The website will help us to do this and to greatly enhance our communication and publicity of events, vision and most importantly the Christian message. Website content will be added to the site by the results team of Phil Dove and Rob Varley, general secretary Jessica Tyson and the Network Norfolk team. “A key to the success of the website will be team mangers sending in their results promptly so that the very latest league standings can be carried,” said Helen, who has also designed a new branding and logo for the league. “The partnership with Network Norfolk means that its existing 10,000 monthly users will also have access to the league’s news, giving it a much wider audience.” The new website also offers news feeds from the Norfolk FA website and the Pink Un and the opportunity for a sponsor to back the league by advertising within the site. www.norfolkcfl.co.uk
