Family fun at Norwich Messy Cathedral event
On Saturday 24th September, Norwich Cathedral will be transformed into a giant Messy Church with games, craft, songs and a picnic for families to enjoy.
In the true spirit of Messy Church, children and their families are invited to come and join in for ‘creativity, worship and eating together’.
The event is part of the Diocesan Children’s Festival. The theme is harvest and the fun begins at 10.30am with a fiesta of crafts, games, stories and activities until lunchtime.
There will be food stations around the cloisters for you to pick up your picnic bag and a drink, all included in the entrance fee. At 1.30pm the worship will begin in the nave with songs, storytelling, fun and worship led by Kevin Baldwin from CROWNS trust and the Messy Cathedral Band.
The Bishop of Thetford will also be joining in the celebration. The event is likely to be popular so if you are planning to come please book in advance for catering purposes.
