International speaker set for Norfolk church

Chick YuillChick Yuill, a regular speaker at major Christian conferences including Spring Harvest, author and regular contributor to Radio Two’s Good Morning Sunday programme is coming to an East Norfolk church in October.

Chick will be visiting Cliff Park Community Church, Gorleston for the weekend of Saturday and Sunday October 1st and 2nd.

He and his wife Margaret have spent over 35 years in full time ministry, most of it pasturing local congregations in the UK and USA with the Salvation Army. Since 2006 he relinquished his post as a church leader in Greater Manchester to concentrate on speaking, writing and encouraging churches to be authentic followers of Jesus in the 21st Century.

Chick is the author of several books including the latest one on discipleship, Moving in the Right Circles, which has just been published and earned four out five stars from Christianity magazine where the reviewer said they loved Chick’s way of seeing the Christian life as an adventure and described the book as both satisfying and relevant. ‘Moving in the Right Circles is not just a good book, it’s also an exciting one!’

Chick Yuill bookChick's wife Margaret will join him for the weekend at Gorleston which will have the overall title of A whole-life gospel for whole-life disciples.
The Saturday evening celebration at Cliff Park Junior School at 7.30 will focus on Moving in Mission and is open to all. Chick will also lead seminars on Saturday morning at from 10.30-12.30 and 1.30-3.30 (bring your own packed lunch, drinks provided) again on the theme of discipleship.

He will also preach at the 10.30 Sunday morning service, again at Cliff Park Junior School. There is no charge for the weekend.
