Christian healing fair returns to Norwich
After the success of the first Destiny Healing Fair in February, the event returns to Norwich on 24 September as a Christian alternative to New Age and psychic fairs.
Michelle Smith and the organising team feel it is right to do another fair in Norwich. Michelle and her husband Rod pastor Wellspring Family Church in Poringland and lead the Norwich Heartbeat ministries team. Their desire is to bring blessing to the City, the communities and the churches within and around Norwich.
The team believe that this is significant timing for the city and look forward to seeing many lives touched through this outreach opportunity.
Michelle said, "There are some talented people who feel redundant, unrecognised or are unable to use the skills God has given them and who have a heart to reach the lost. The healing fair provides a platform for the many creative gifts within churches to be used in the marketplace as evangelistic opportunities.
"For lots of people their only experience of church is a wedding, christening or funeral service and they can be few and far between. We want to show them that God is interested in them personally and He thinks they are amazing people and that He has a plan for their lives."
Activities on offer include art and photography, Psalm cards, massage, healing prayers, nail painting, prophetic words and songs and lots more. There will also be stands with products for sale such as candles, handmade crafts and jewellery.
Entrance is free and there will be refreshments for sale.
The concept of a Christian healing fair of this kind is an unfamiliar one to many people. Michelle relates to this, "Until we had our first Christian stand in a psychic fair several years ago, it was ‘out of the box’ for me too but when I realised this is a great opportunity to reach spiritually hungry and seeking people and offer a unique evangelism opportunity to the Church, I felt prompted by God put on a Christian healing fair."
