2012 dates for Celebrate Norfolk announced
 The 2012 dates for the Christian festival Celebrate Norwich & Norfolk have been announced along with a new addition to the team behind it and the opportunity for others to contribute.
Form Friday June 8 to Sunday June 10 the Forum in Norwich, Millennium Plain and St Peter Mancroft Church will showcase a huge array of Christian groups, activities and services from across Norfolk, including the popular Christian Community Action Exhibition.
There will also be a wide-ranging programme of Christian music, arts and dance both local and nationally-known.
Joining the team, to lead activities and events focused on young people, will be East Norwich Youth Project director, Danny Doran-Smith.
Danny said: “I am pleased to be able to be part of the Celebrate team for 2012, and to build on some of the activities we were able to do this year in engaging with young people and their families.”
Celebrate project director John Betts, said: “We are delighted to be able to announce the dates for next year's event which aims to build on what has gone before over the past three years.
“We are looking to develop Celebrate in new directions and are seeking people who can join the team and take responsibility for that development. We would like people to consider what they could bring to Celebrate as we seek to enlarge the scope of what we do and develop the effectiveness of our work.
“We will also be looking to add new dimensions, including more activities focused on young people, with Danny's help, and also some elements linked to the London Olympics and the More than Gold initiative, which follows shortly after our event.”
