School's out but Wii is in at Norfolk church
An exciting new after-school club will be launched at Sheringham Baptist Church on Friday November 11.
“School’s Out” is aimed at children of primary school age, and will include games, competitions, craft, tuck shop and snacks as well as a new big screen Wii.
“This will simply be a fun place for primary school children to come to when “school’s out” for the weekend,” said Maggie Rothe, who is co-ordinating the launch with the church’s youth pastor, Pete Skivington. We hope to run the various activities in zones, so that there will always be lots happening.”
“The idea is that kids can drop in after school to celebrate the end of the school week in style,” she added.
The club, at the Baptist church on Holway Road, will run from 3.30 to 4.45pm every Friday in term time. Admission is just 50p per person.
