Church announces new workers and website
Taverham Evangelical Church (TEC), north of Norwich, has just taken on two new family workers and launched a new website.
Pastor Vic Ready said: “At TEC we are blessed to already have a thriving children’s and youth ministry but to help us grow and develop these ministries even further we’ve just taken on two new Family Workers. They are Andrew and Rachel Ward, and their daughter Esther, who is already TEC’s youth ministry leader.
“Andrew and Rachel’s task is to bridge the gap between the children that already attend the children/youth ministries and their parents who are not yet involved in church. They will also be a link between the local churches and schools in the Taverham, Thorpe Marriott and Drayton areas.
“TEC is very much part of ‘Churches Together’ locally and we know that Andrew and Rachel will be a very valuable additional resource for our wider community.”
The church also has a new-look website which tells visitors all about the lively community church and what it has to offer.
Vic said: “At TEC we believe that community church and ministry are essential to sustaining the growth and development of church in our region and we are passionate about reaching out into our locality with the love of Jesus and serving people wherever and whenever we can.”
