Carols mark start of Christmas at YMCA Norfolk

Residents, staff and supporters of YMCA Norfolk celebrated the real meaning of Christmas at a joyful carol service held at St Peter Mancroft Church in Norwich last night (December 6).

Hosted by Rev Janet Wyer, a congregation of around 80 enjoyed traditional carols, Bible readings, two talented soloists, a poem and singing from a YMCA choir, formed only an hour or so before the service. Most contributions were from young YMCA residents.

YMCA Schools and Communities Manager Nick Blanch spoke about the gifts of the three wise men and then the whole congregations were invited back to the YMCA on St Giles for mulled wine and mince pies.
