Boyle endorses book by Norwich lay pastor
A Norwich lay pastor and author has just released a new online edition of his book “How to Get What Money Can’t Buy”, which has been endorsed by international recording star Susan Boyle.
Dr John Clements, who was the lay pastor at the Old Meeting Congregational Church and still helps out there, has just re-released his self-help book “How to Get What Money Can’t Buy: Personal Peace and Happiness in a World of Unrest”, as a Kindle book (priced at £3.44).
He said: “Christian authors like myself, who are not well known, have a huge challenge in getting their message into the hands of readers. Everyone tells me that my book is very practical and down-to-earth and very relevant in today's world.”
The book has previously received endorsements from a whole host of well-known Christian figures including J John, Dave Bilbrough and the late Bishop Michael Evans. The foreword is by the Bishop of Norwich the Rt Rev Graham James.
Susan Boyle, who came to fame on Britain’s Got Talent and whose debut album “I Dreamed a Dream” was recognised by Guinness World Records as being the fasted selling debut album by a female artist in the UK, said: “I thank John Clements for writing this book which has a real appeal for me because it gives me a sense of inner peace and tranquillity. I found the book inspiring and underpinned by the simple message of Jesus.” It is available as a Kindle book at £3.08 from Amazon
