W Norfolk churches organise week of prayer

weekofprayerChurches Together in King’s Lynn has organised a plan of daily prayer events for the week of prayer for Christian Unity from January 18 to 25.
Peter Coates from CTKL, said: “I hope as many people as possible will attend to share their faith and encouragement with Christians of other denominations.”
 

Wednesday January 18:

St Faith’s Church, Gayton Rd, Gaywood, King’s Lynn PE30 4DZ; Revd. Canon Beryl Wood; 1900-1930 hrs. Taize style worship.
 

Thursday  January 19:

St Margaret’s Church, (King’s Lynn Minster), Saturday Market Place, King’s Lynn, PE30 5EB; Revd. Canon Christopher Ivory: 12 mid-day to 1230 hrs.
 

Friday January 20:

Church of the Annunciation, London Rd., King’s Lynn, PE30 5HQ; Revd. Peter Rollings; 1230-1300 hrs, (after Mass at 12 mid-day). Prayer for Christian Unity will be followed by soup and a roll.
 

Saturday January 21:

St Felix Chapel, Babingley, PE31 6AW. 15OO-1600 hrs.
 

Sunday January 22:

Church of St John the Evangelist, Blackfriars Rd., King’s Lynn, PE30 1NT; Revd. Corin Child; 1830-1930 hrs.
 

Monday January 23:

The Sacred Space, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Gayton Rd, King’s Lynn, PE30 4ET. Revd. Mark Jones; 0830-0900 hrs.
 

Tuesday January 24:

King’s Lynn Baptist Church, Wisbech Rd, South Lynn, PE30 5JS; Pastor Kevan Crane: 12.30-1300 hrs.
 

Wednesday January 25:

Quakers Religious Society of Friends, Friends Meeting House, 38 Bridge St, King’s Lynn, PE30 5AB. 12.30-1300 hrs.
