Ex-speedway speaks of life change in Norwich

SteveMillsSteve Mills, a successful businessman and former sportsman who ‘hated religion’, until his life was suddenly transformed by faith in Jesus,  shared his unusual story at a Norwich FGB fellowship dinner on Friday, February 10.

Steve Mills in his youth was an international speedway racer who also excelled at football, despite a wild life-style.

Later, while working in the business world, he drove past a plain-looking building – and felt an inner compulsion to stop and call by.  He had no idea that the building was a venue for Christian meetings and he found it very strange.

But there, when returning for a later visit, he had a dramatic and totally unexpected conversion to Christ which eventually led him and his wife, Lesley, to many remarkable adventures in the UK and abroad.

This dinner is one of a series of monthly events organised by the Norwich Chapter of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship (FGB), which is endorsed in the UK by the Archbishop of York who says, “We need more men like them.”

The global fellowship has more than 7,000 local chapters spread across 160 countries.
