Womens Prayer Day with Mid Norfolk Villages

WomensDayofPrayerChurches within the villages of Mid Norfolk will be observing Women's World Day of Prayer on Friday 2nd March with a service held at St Mary’s Church, North Elmham.
On Friday 2nd March it is estimated that over 3 million people world wide will be praying and worshipping together during an annual day of prayer, using a form of service prepared by Christian women in Malaysia.

The Women’s World Day of Prayer is a global event with 5,000 dedicated services taking place every year in the United Kingdom alone.  The service is written by a different country each year and that country then becomes the focus of prayer on the day itself. This year the theme is ‘Let Justice Prevail’ focusing on Malaysia.

The first service of the day will take place on the Island of Samoa and the last service will take place on American
Samoa. Services of focussed prayer continue around the world for 36 hours

The speaker taking the Mid Norfolk Villages church service at St Mary’s Church in North Elmham will be Mrs Wendy Sargeant, Reader at The Fountain of Life Church, Ashill.  The service begins at 10.30 am. Everyone is very welcome.
