UCB to host Norwich breakfast at Celebrate

2012: National Christian media charity, United Christian Broadcasters (UCB) is hosting a breakfast event at the Forum in Norwich on Saturday June 9 as part of the Celebrate Norwich & Norfolk weekend.

CarlBrettleUCB400The event is open to church, community and business leaders or anyone involved in faith-based or community projects in their area.

The theme is ‘reaching and supporting our community’ and will include an overview of UCB’s available resources including Christian radio, TV, social media, the national Prayerline service and daily devotional Word for Today,

UCB’s Director of Ministry Resources, Carl Brettle (pictured above) said: “With over 6000 churches receiving The Word for Today, UCB has had regular contact with many local churches over the past 18 years.  21st Century culture in the UK expects ‘on demand’ 24 /7 services and we have noticed that often churches find it difficult to meet these expectations.

“It is a great pleasure to see local churches working together in unity as with what is happening in Norwich and Norfolk, which is why it makes such sense for UCB to come during the Celebrate Norwich & Norfolk weekend.”
