Location:
Situated in Rampant Horse Street, within the old city wall, NR2 1QP. The parish, mainly outside the wall, includes Fellowes Plain, Chapelfield Shopping Centre and shops and businesses in St Stephen's Street, Red Lion Street, and Surrey Street.
A large medieval building, with the tower and north aisle dating from 1350, and the rest from the 16th century, just after the Reformation.

St. Stephen's re-opened in May 2012 after extensive repairs and restoration following a large crack which occurred in May 2009. Work is now complete with the construction of an office, lobby and kitchen at the West end of the church.
We are now able to offer hospitality with the re-opening of the Coffee Centre open Mon - Sat. 10am -12noon, serving tea, coffee and homemade cake. An exhibition of the restoration work can also be viewed.
