Revelations of Love: Julian week in Norwich
Julian Week - Saturday May 2 to Saturday May 9, 2015, celebrating the internationally famous Julian of Norwich (1342-1416) has the headline Revelations of Love: Creativity and Compassion.

JulianWeekThe actual name of this writer is unknown, she is named after St Julian’s church in Norwich where she lived for most of her life. She is thought to have been the first women to write a book to survive in English.

We know that Julian of Norwich was known as a spiritual counsellor of her time, people would come to her cell in Norwich and ask for her advice, and her writings are permeated with trust in God’s goodness and hope - inspirational as Norwich was suffering with famine, poverty and plague during the time she lived in the city.

The events scheduled for Julian week include guided walks, lectures, exhibitions, tours, concerts, Eucharist and much more.
