Cup and trophy finals in U10 Christian league

FootballBrookeCFThe u10 cup final and the new trophy final took place at Sale Road on Saturday April 10. Both games attracted a large crowd of supporters who were enthusiastically vocal in their support of all the players who put on a great footballing display.

The cup was won by a very strong Brooke side who were comfortable winners against a Lighthouse team who battled till the final whistle and never gave up. Well done to both teams on reaching the final and a very sporting game. All credit to team managers and coaches for their encouragement for all who took part.

The new trophy final was between possibly two of the strongest teams in the league and was a very close game with Heigham Park Rangers eventually winning 1-0 against a gallant Stoke team. There was nothing to separate these two teams apart form that single goal, a thrilling final and a fitting end to an enjoyable u10 season. We do hope all of these teams remain in the Christian league next season, we look forward to seeing you all.
