Norfolk Parkinson's support needs volunteer

ParkinsonsThe Wymondham and District Parkinson’s Support group is in need of a new chairman/coordinator.

This group has been running for about nine years and aims to provide social contact for people with Parkinson’s and information about the illness.  Meetings are held on the afternoon of the second Wednesday of the month at the Ogden Centre in Wymondham.

The group listens to a speaker, followed by a cup of tea, a raffle and an opportunity to chat.  Due to the retirement of the present coordinator, the group urgently needs someone to work with the existing committee and keep in touch with Parkinson’s UK national office.  This voluntary job is not arduous but requires someone with organisational skills and a basic knowledge of computers.

If you are interested in this rewarding and worthwhile work, please contact Rosemary Bousfield at 01603 453803 or
