Day of Christian sport in Norwich 

CIS logo 300There will Christians in Sport events in Norwich both during the day and in the evening on Friday October 23, and the organisers are keen to attract as many people as possible.
 
The Sports Factory event during the day is called Sports Plus. This is a fun multi-sport Christians in Sport day giving the a chance to play sport and learn new skills whilst making friends and exploring faith.  It is aimed at 11-18 year olds with a passion for sport.
 
It will run from 11am to 4pm at the Recreation Road Sports Centre, Recreation Road, Norwich, NR2 3JA. The cost is £10 per person, and participants should bring :
• Lunch and water bottle.
• Wear comfortable sports clothes and bring something warm.
• A change of clothes.
• No valuables!

 clubhouse logoIn the evening, there will be a Christians in Sport event called Clubhouse, which is visiting Norwich as part of a nationwide tour. Christians in Sport is partnering with Scripture Union to provide Clubhouse - an evening for those involved with sport to be equipped and encouraged to take the good news of Jesus to the sporting community.
 
It is for Christian players, coaches or officials in a sports club or team who are keen to reach young people and children in their local sports communities. It is also for church leaders and workers wanting to reach their local world of sport.
 
The event starts at 7.30pm, with arrival from 7pm, on Friday October 23, and takes place at Soul Church in Norwich, NR6 6RF.
