Norfolk conference on models for chaplaincy 

BenRyan450Models for Chaplaincy Today is the subject of a multi-disciplinary, multi-faith chaplaincy conference being held in Norfolk in October, hosted by Good Work (Norfolk & Waveney Industrial Mission)

The day is open to all chaplains and anyone interested in chaplaincy and speakers at the conference, on October 17, include the Bishop of Lynn - The Rt Rev Jonathan Meyrick and Rev Wing Commander Paul Mellor, Senior Chaplain at RAF Marham

Ben Ryan, researcher from Theos (pictured above) will be speaking on “Models for Chaplaincy today: Defining the role of a Chaplain in different settings” and Rev Dr Liviu Barbu will talk about “Spiritual direction and formation as a lifelong commitment to holiness”

The conference on October 17, starts at 9.15am and ends at 3.30pm and will also include an Introduction to an audit of Norfolk Chaplains, break-out groups, reflections, plenary and feedback

The venue is East Tuddenham Village Hall, NR20 3LR, which is close to A47 with ample parking
