Bible College offers free teaching days in Norwich

The Way of the Spirit, the Norfolk based Bible Training College, is offering a free two year programme of monthly Bible teaching days starting on Saturday, October 22 with trained teachers, who, in the power of the Holy Spirit, are excited to bring the Bible to life.

The Bible Training College, The Way of the Spirit, is set to begin a series of monthly teaching days based at Bowthorpe Church Centre, Norwich on Saturday, October 22, 10.30am-3pm.

The subsequent training day will take place on Saturday, November 26, 10.30am-3pm. You are welcome to turn up to either dates or both. Entrance is free; just remember to bring your lunch!

These monthly training days will begin a two-year programme which, with regular (optional) attendance and participation in a The Way of the Spirit group once a week, can lead to an Certificate in Biblical and Prophetic Faith.

Richard George, Director of The Way of the Spirit (pictured above) said: “How well do you know the Bible? How alive is it to you? Are you hungry for God’s word? Boy, the church today needs to get into the Bible.”

“At The Way of the Spirit, we have lots of trained teachers who are ready to bring the Bible alive, ready to encourage anyone to learn to come to their Bibles and hear life. But be warned, coming along may impact your Bible reading and therefore your Christian life irretrievably.”

The Way of the Spirit is a Bible Training College based at Framingham Earl Hall, a few miles from Norwich.  The college, only one aspect of the ministry’s work, was established in Norfolk in 2007 by Director Richard George, on the foundations of the teachings of the late John McKay, Director of Studies at Kingdom Faith’s Bible College at Roffey Place in West Sussex. It teaches students to hear God speak through the Bible, thus addressing their lives and circumstances here and now.

Richard said: “Prophetic ministry today, at least in part, is here to call God's people back to the covenant promises, to teach the people of God how to walk with God, in the power of the Holy Spirit, trusting in the promises and words of God.

“He calls us to follow him and to make our own disciples, to reproduce whatever God has put in us in others. At The Way of the Spirit we seek to do that through teaching the Bible, in the power of the Holy Spirit, demonstrating what it says, then sending students out. We have sent many abroad for short term missions around the UK, in six East African nations and beyond.”

The Way of the Spirit offers a range of full time and part time courses and weekend conferences.  If you are interested in finding out more about the residential and non-residential opportunities to train with The Way of the Spirit at Framingham Earl Hall please contact Richard George or Sarah Riley on 01508 495346 for more details.

The monthly training days will take place at Bowthorpe Church Centre, Bowthorpe Hall Road, Bowthorpe, Norwich, NR5 9AA.
