About the Church:

The Chapel’, a place described as an “Oasis”, where hearts are refreshingly comforted by the unfailing word of God and miracles are a usual occurrence, is no doubt God’s own temple. RCCG, ‘The Chapel’ Norwich as it is called today adopted its name in March 2001 after a re-launch of the Parish by its Minister-in-Charge, Assistant Pastor Chioma Onyeme, to serve as a place of worship for the Norwich community providing both in-house and mobile church services to its immediate community.

The Parish (formerly known as Dominion Centre) was first inaugurated on 8th November 1998 following a ground work by Pastor Steve Mayo (who was on a mission trip) and Pastor Jonathan Onyeme (Senior Pastor of the Parish), with Chioma providing the administrative support.
Since its re-launch, the church has sought to reach its neighbourhood with the gospel of Jesus Christ through selfless service to them that is inspired by Christ Himself and motivated by His love.

The Pastors and the entire congregation of ‘The Chapel’ believe that a networking relationship with other churches, groups and organisations is key to achieving its objects - the advancement of the Christian Faith worldwide and the relief of poverty.
