Are you ex-forces and looking for a challenging and rewarding role?
Are you passionate about recovery from substance misuse?

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time post working with serving Armed Forces personnel, Veterans, Reservists and their families who have issues with alcohol and drug misuse. You will work with individuals, undertaking referrals and assessments, managing a caseload, completing recovery care plans, and providing information and advice to substance users.

You will need to collect data, statistics and client case stories to support the future funding of the service, therefore you must be highly organised with good administrative skills. As Senior Practitioner you will also provide day-to-day support to other workers in the team and to volunteers.

The office base for this post is Norwich but will involve travel across Norfolk, therefore the ability to drive and access to a car is essential. Evening work may sometimes be necessary depending on the needs of the clients.

This post is restricted to veterans of the Armed Forces and is funded by Royal British Legion. This is a 1 year contract but with the possibility of extension.

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time post working with Armed Forces and Veterans families, friends and carers of people who have issues with alcohol and drug misuse. You will work with individuals, undertaking referrals and assessments, managing a caseload, providing information, advice and support to the families and carers affected by the substance misuse.

You will need to collect data, statistics and client case stories to support the future funding of the service, therefore you must be highly organised with good administrative skills.

The office base for this post is Norwich but will involve travel across Norfolk and Suffolk, therefore the ability to drive and access to a car is essential. Evening work may sometimes be necessary depending on the needs of the clients.

This post is funded by the Army Benevolent Fund. This is a 1 year contract but with the possibility of extension.
