Thousands attend Norfolk Living Water event
Thousands of people from all across the country have enjoying a wet and windy Living Water Festival at the Royal Norfolk Showground near Norwich.
A record-breaking 2500 were booked in for the whole event and up to 1000 day visitors each day also attended.
One man came all the way from Nigeria and a woman travelled from Argentina. Both were volunteers at the event. A family also came from Spain.
The theme of Living Water was Belonging and the line-up of speakers included: John and Anne Coles (New Wine), Rachel and Gordon Hickson and Simon Ponsonby, (St Aldgate’s Oxford), David Campbell (Elim (London and the South East)), Dave Smith (Peterborough Community Church) and Steve Campbell (C3).
A variety of entertainment including bands, solo artists, and circus entertainers, were also on offer daily and there were full programmes of activities for children and young people.
One new feature this year was a full-sized specially-built tabernacle for prayer throughout the event (pictured right).
Radio station Living Water Radio broadcast from the festival all over greater Norwich and as far as East Dereham and Wymondham.
The station was on the airwaves 24-hours a day at 107.3FM from early on Friday August 11 until late on Wednesday August 16 produced from special studios in the main arena control tower on the Norfolk Showground.

My poor son Raphi had to leave early from Wavemakers because his friend didn't feel well, and would like to know whether DIGGERS won the points competition at the end. He'd also love to hear from other Wavemakers about the last session - particularly as he's 10, and it was his last time being a wave-maker! He also thought it was really cool that big Richard ralked in 'tongues' and Raph himself had a vision, which on the way home, he tried hard to interpret...along the lines of world peace - shalom and thanks

Several of us were blessed by the power of the holy spirit working through Dave Campbell who worked tirelessly for 3+ hours! and one in our group finally received the gift of tongues. Fantastic

Had a fantastic time spiritually, which held me together at 5.30am Sunday morning while I was banging in the tent pegs, yet again!! Saw so many people blessed by the Spirit, wonderful. Pray they take their blessing back to their Parishes and pass it on.

However, I went and I,m so glad I did. The speakers were so Holy Spirit filled and the worship was uplifting. So many things have been confirmed in my heart, I came away being so inspired and ready to help fill heaven. My 3 children also loved it and can't wait to return next year even though their tents were blown flat! Both my teenagers were given the gift of tongues in prayer and worship. Thankyou Jesus.

The speakers were very interesting and varied in style and content, although there was a theme so it all flowed together.
We plan on taking more of our church next year, there is something there for everyone. Lighter entertainment through to more serious stuff. Plenty of opportunities to have ministry and free time to meet with friends.
Thanks to all who put so much effort into making it such a fab time.

The highlight for me was the night Dave Cambell spoke, and then spent the next few hours praying for it seemed almost everyone in the venue! absolutely amazing! I couldn't tear myself away, The Holy Spirit was so gracious and lavish in His presence. Plus it was lovely to have the company of my son working all week on the monitor desk in the adult venue.
