There is such a thing as a free lunch!
 Trinity has been aware for some time that there are people passing by outside the church who are their “neighbours”. They wanted to find a way to offer their hospitality to anyone who might appreciate it so it was agreed to try offering a simple free meal as an extension to the Friday coffee morning. After a short trial it became clear that those who were coming along, both from the church and the community were enjoying sharing a meal and having time to talk.
Marion Nevill said: “It isn’t a big event but we think it is significant. Some times small is better, especially when it comes to forming relationships and having time for each other”
Now a big sign invites people to this small and simple table of sharing. Its not the same people who come every week so over a period of time a growing number of callers are benefiting from the event which is set to be there as a permanent part of the churches mission to the local community.
